Saigon English was established in Ho Chi Minh City in 2019 with the aim of providing high-quality IELTS tuition for Vietnamese students. From the outset, we have focused on using original, authentic learning materials tailored to each student’s level, combined with personalised, detailed feedback to help them make meaningful progress.
Since then, we have expanded our offering to include Business English and General English courses. Our student community has also grown, and we now welcome learners from Vietnam, South Korea, Japan and Taiwan.
Our Aproach to Learning
At Saigon English, we believe that effective language learning goes beyond textbooks and grammar exercises. Our lessons are interactive and practical, using authentic learning materials and real-life situations to help students develop the skills and confidence to communicate effectively in English.
We tailor our teaching to each student's level, needs and goals. Lessons incorporate discussion, speaking practice and relevant activities, with ongoing feedback and correction to help students improve their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, fluency and accuracy.
For IELTS students, we focus on developing the skills and exam strategies needed to perform confidently in all four test components, supported by regular assessment and detailed, personalised feedback. Our Business English classes focus on practical workplace communication, including dealing with customers and suppliers, presentations and written correspondence. General English lessons help adult learners communicate more naturally and confidently in everyday situations.
Whatever their goals, our students benefit from an approach that combines structured learning with active participation, individual attention and constructive feedback throughout their learning journey.
